History

Founded in 1983, the High Plains Health Foundation will strive to help Morton County Health System as well as county and area wide health initiatives.

Projects will be funded with interest earnings from the Foundation.

Purpose

FIELD OF INTEREST FUND Donors who feel strongly about a particular cause but do not wish to take an active role in grant making may want to establish or donate to a Field of Interest Fund.  This type of fund allows you to identify and support a category of interest (i.e., education,  environment, arts and culture) that you feel passionate about supporting.  The Foundation will help you identify appropriate organizations working in your field of interest to support with periodic grants.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND Donors specifically interested in promoting educational opportunity may wish to establish Scholarship Funds or contribute to established scholarship funds.  The Foundation administers the funds within existing and changing tax laws regarding scholarship grants.  If you wish, the Foundation can also help you establish selection criteria and publicize the scholarship.
